MEET THE TEAM
Kyle brings extensive data acquisition and verification experience, including high-rate blast injury and impact injury data collection and analysis. He is co-inventor of the Tachta sensor and is responsible for its hardware and firmware design.
Hardware and Firmware Engineer
Adam, a US Army veteran, is a practicing audiologist and president of the NC Audiology Association. His interests are in vestibular and balance evaluation and treatment, concussions, and blast trauma. He is co-inventor of MVTrak's sensor product.
Bruce, a US Army veteran, has experience in corporate marketing, new ventures, and clinical medicine (Baxter International, Quaero, Cogent Neuroscience). As a practicing physician, Bruce sees the clinical consequences of head trauma in daily practice and is well-versed in the unique ways in which these problems affect individuals and their families.
Dale is an internationally recognized expert in injury risk modeling with 20+ years experience in biomechanics. He is the co-inventor of the MV1 technology and he has spent many years developing neurotrauma risk models. He is the Director of the Injury Biomechanics Laboratory in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Duke University. Dr. Bass has nearly 100 peer reviewed publications in the areas of injury biomechanics, statistical modeling and tissue biomechanics, and he has a proven record of performing complex multidisciplinary research and development projects. For 15 years, Dr. Bass has run a small business based on human biomechanics and has experience in designing human-worn instrumentation for use in high impact environments such as high-speed naval craft.
Ph.D., Biomedical Engineer
